Description: Information on George H. Post is very scanty. He seems to have attended Morgan School in Clinton, Connecticut, and he kept account books for stores in Clinton and Lyons, and for carpentry work in New Haven. In 1899 he indicates that he had bought an interest in J.H. Tilson & Co., a stair-building business in New Haven. The papers include school notebooks (1879-80) and ledgers (1876-1903).
