Description: These scrapbooks have been compiled by some 55 people and are arranged alphabetically by compiler and/or donor. Those that are unidentified are arranged according to subject which includes poetry, essays, political or local events, and contemporary material on the Civil War. They are mostly from New Haven and contain clippings and photographs from newspapers and periodicals. The collection is in part microfilmed.
