NHM offers Self-Guided Visits, Guided Tours and Slide Lectures for adult group visitors. Groups may choose one type of program or combine two for a more complete experience.
SELF-GUIDED VISITS TO NHM
Self-Guided Visits are available Tuesday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
GUIDED TOURS AT NHM
Tours range from 45 - 60 minutes in length and can accommodate groups of up to 25. Larger groups will need to schedule more than one tour.

| General Museum Tour | This tour introduces visitors to New Haven's rich history and spends time in each of the primary exhibition galleries. |
| New Haven Illustrated Gallery Tour | Travel through New Haven history from first settlement in 1638 through the early 20th century. |

This tour tells the story of the Amistad using maps, artifacts and documents to describe the events and individuals. |

SLIDE LECTURES
NHM staff are available to bring slide lectures to your site. NHM will bring the projection equipment. It is the responsibility of the site to provide a screen or blank wall in a suitable room.
